The coast is protected by the magnificent "Sierra" mountains, providing a backdrop to the Mediterranean . MALAGA is the third largest city of Spain and the capital of the coast. The cultural and cosmopolitan centre provides days of discovery in it's shaded streets. Find the birthplace of Picasso, climb the steps of the castle of Gibalfaro , overlook the famous harbour and see the docking of the world's cruise ships. Malaga airport is the main airport for the region again offering car hire and airport shopping.

BENALMADENA now the most popular resort on the coast, has a magnificent harbour that was recently voted the world's finest. The home of fine yachts, superb restaurants and nightclubs, the harbour has attractions for all, every minute of the day and night especially in 24 hour square!

FUENGIROLA provides not only the longest promenade on the coast, it offers beaches that contrast dramatically. To the west, lively beachfront bars provide rocking and rolling entertainment during the days. To the east more peaceful wide and sandy beaches provide relaxation and the opportunity of fine, beachfront dining.

MARBELLA is the "heart" of the coastline and is seen as the cosmopolitan home of the rich and famous and a focus for golfing enthusiasts. Te fabulous harbour of Puerto Banus is again world famous. As well as a home for the most expensive yachts, you will find all the world's leading fashion designers have established their own retail outlets on the harbour side that is eagerly visited into the small hours by the residents of the town and holidaymakers alike.

West of Marbella is now attracting many home hunters who wish to enjoy the comforts and style of beachside living and still benefit from open space. SOTOGRANDE can be found towards the southern most part of the Spanish coastline. It is one of the most prestigious areas of the coast.
